Richmond, BC, Canada, November 2020 – We are pleased to announce that Bridgemans Services Group LP is the recipient of the 2020 World Safety Organization’s Concerned Company/Corporation Award on behalf of works completed at Bridgemans Marine Transport.

We have been investing in Bridgemans Marine Transport, located in Kitimat, BC, Canada to achieve excellence in our safety culture. Now into our third season, the program’s quality is moving the marine company from the margins to the forefront of the Douglas Channel. The culture built by the team of valued employees at Bridgemans enables us to thrive through diversity, empowered employees, and sustainable practices.

The Bridgemans’ leadership team targets improvement with the use of innovative programs created to show concern for the well-being of our employees and local community. Living and working on the water has always been important to the Haisla, as a Haisla JV Partner – Bridgemans shares this sentiment. Working side by side with local communities has been essential to Bridgemans growth and success. A major achievement is the maintenance a vessel fleet that allows for hands-on training and career progression for ambitious mariners. The current vessel fleet operating out of MK Bay Marina is the optimum training platform for aspiring employees under the watchful eye of proven marine mentors and the leadership team.

Our excellent performance record and dedicated commitment to safe operation and sustainability built a safety performance record that highlighted Bridgemans as the contractor of choice for a marine construction project, summer 2020. We worked directly with LNG Canada in facilitating the hydraulic barge relocation on short notice and provide other marine support services on the project.

We are very proud of our HSE team lead by Erinn Kallal MBA OHS Leadership, our leadership team, and our marine crew for constantly striving to ensure the safest environment for everyone working with us on project.
