Bridgemans Marine Services offer purpose-built vessels and experienced crews to assist floatel operations or complete a wide variety of specific, standalone client mandates including personnel and cargo transfers, survey and standby vessels, tugs and towing, oil spill response, search and rescue, and cargo and passenger ferry services.

Thanks to the flexibility of our fleet, logistical expertise and ability to customize our offerings, we can provide turnkey stand-alone and floatel support services for even the most challenging assignments and remote locations. Our global fleet – now operating in Asia, North America and the Caribbean – includes floatel support vessels, multipurpose workboats, personnel transfer vessels, environmental survey and safety standby vessels, and larger ROPAX vessels capable of moving 300 cars and 130 passengers across vast distances.

Workboat Services

Bridgemans fleet includes the Haisla Northwind, an exceptional workboat with the versatility to take on diverse areas of work. This fully-equipped vessel specializes in anchor handling, crane operations, line handling, towing, and cargo stowage.

From dredging support, platform supply duties, port operations, or marine construction projects, the Haisla Northwind can play an invaluable role.

Personnel & Cargo Transfers

One of the most challenging aspects of operating in remote regions is ensuring uninterrupted logistics systems and crew transfers.

These include the procurement and delivery of material, equipment, supplies, fuel and fresh food products, environmentally friendly waste disposal, and the safe and reliable transportation of crews to and from job sites.

Bridgemans provides the transport services, vessels and experienced crews required to meet all of your personnel and cargo transfer needs.

Safety Standby Vessels

Safety standby vessels are readily available and cost effective. OFAIII available as part of the service, or client can provide their own personnel.

ROPAX Ferry Service

Bridgemans provides safe and effective cargo and passenger ferry transportation services operated by highly trained and experienced marine crew members, officers and captains.

Bridgemans’ MV Cabo Star provides service between Trinidad and Tobago under an agreement with the island nation’s Ministry of Works and Transport.

MV Cabo Star completes six round trips per week delivering passengers and cargo between the two ports.

MV Cabo Star is a ROPAX ferry with 2,500 lane-meters, capacity for 130 persons onboard and sleeper cabins with private ensuites are available for drivers during sailing. Passenger common area facilities include seating lounges with wide-screen televisions, food and beverage cafeteria with dining area, outdoor seating areas and public restrooms.

Kitimat RoRo, Laydown and Storage Facility

Bridgemans Roll on/Roll off (RoRo) facility in the Kitimat/Skeena, BC region has a 10-person office and offers barge and vessel handling, short or long-term laydown, and secure CCTV-controlled access.

The RoRo facility is protected by a 122-meter (400-foot) breakwater, can accept barges up to 91 metres (300 feet) long in all weather conditions, and offers 24/7 access to the Douglas Channel.

The RoRo is the only private, independent RoRo facility in the region. Canadian-flagged vessels can utilize the facility as a cost-effective alternative to others in the region that are controlled by industry.

The facility has the capacity to support loads up to 63,500 kg gross vehicle weight (GVW) and can accept heavier loads in consultation with Bridgemans engineers. The facility can also manage tractor trailers or containers and can stage them in the laydown yard with both short and long-term storage options.

Bridemans’ safety standby vessels are designed, organised, equipped and maintained in such a way that they can carry out rapid evacuation assistance in the event of an emergency.
