Vancouver, BC, Canada, July 24, 2024 – Bridgemans Services Group (Bridgemans) the world’s premier provider of floatels and related marine services, has moored MV Isabelle X at the Woodfibre LNG site in British Columbia, Canada, and is continuing to welcome workers on board.
MV Isabelle X offers Woodfibre’s workers premium living, dining, and recreational facilities, outstanding cuisine, and endless opportunities for social interaction and entertainment. It also offers innovative environmental features that support Woodfibre LNG’s net zero mandate and ensure the comfort of more than 600 guests. These include an ultraviolet water purification system, the ability to run on shore hydro power, and industrial heat pumps capable of heating and cooling the vessel.
“In tandem with Woodfibre LNG and the Squamish Nation, Bridgemans has redefined the concept of safe, secure and sustainable workforce housing with MV Isabelle X,” said Brian Grange, President, Bridgemans. “The Bridgemans Floatel provides the latest environmental features, 652 private cabins each with their own ensuite, and exceptional food, recreation, and leisure facilities intended to make workers feel comfortable and at home, whenever they are onboard.”
MV Isabelle X marks Bridgemans’ 12th floatel project. Bridgemans can source, customize and manage a wide variety of vessels to create premium workforce ‘floatel’ housing, all according to client specifications and delivered anywhere in the world.
“While we are very pleased to be working locally with MV Isabelle X in British Columbia, our expertise is global,” added Mr. Grange. “We have sourced, refit and delivered floatels for up to 1,400 workers to six continents in the past 10 years, and we continue to grow our worldwide reputation with each new client mandate.”
Bridgemans also has a growing fleet of marine support vessels and expert crews for tasks such as personnel and cargo transfers, survey and standby, tugs and towing, and oil spill response.
