Vancouver, BC, Canada, August 26, 2024 – Bridgemans Services Group (Bridgemans), the world’s premier provider of floatels and related marine services, announced today that the Company has retired and sold Diamond XI.
Bridgemans acquired Diamond XI earlier this year. The vessel underwent a retrofit to specifically prepare it for floatel service in spring and summer of 2024 in the Mediterranean Sea. Upon the successful completion of that floatel contract, Bridgemans retired and sold Diamond XI and will be exploring opportunities for a vessel in a slightly larger category in the future.
“We obtained Diamond XI and refit the vessel to meet our clients request for a premium midsize floatel. Shortly after the acquisition, the vessel performed superbly on an accommodations assignment in the southeast Mediterranean,” said Brian Grange, President, Bridgemans. “With the emergence of new business opportunities, we recently made the difficult decision to retire the Diamond XI . We plan to explore the opportunity to add another slightly larger floatel to our fleet in the future.”
